#1 - My love for photography started back in the early 2000s with a point and shoot digital camera I spent weeks begging my mom to buy. My albums were filled with duck lips, peace signs, and popped collars. But don’t worry, over time my love for photography deepened beyond goofy faces. In early adulthood, my husband and I grew a love for traveling. It was on these trips where my love for photography turned to a passion for composition and telling a story with unique detail.
#2 - One of my favorite life’s purposes is being a MOM. I married my high school sweetheart and we are lucky enough to have two children - a son and a daughter! I’ve been a working mom, a stay at home mom, and now a business owner mom. Most importantly, I am proud to proclaim that I’m an imperfect mom. I require a lot of Grace on a daily basis, and there’s so much beauty in that journey!
#3 - While I’m not currently working full-time in education, fighting injustice and inequities through public education will always be a passion at the forefront of my mind and heart. I’m forever thankful for the decade+ years serving in education that blessed me, challenged me, pushed me, and shaped me.
#4 - My ideal “me time” involves curling up with a page turner somewhere cozy. Bonus points if the cozy has an ocean view! If you’re a bookworm too, let’s chat about the best ones you’ve read recently!
#5 - If I’m going out to eat, there’s a 95% chance that it’s somewhere with margaritas, chips, and queso! (The other 5% chance is reserved for steak, parmesan truffle fries, or somewhere with delicious rolls)
