Another one of my favorite family photoshoot locations in Wilmington DE- Goodstay Gardens! After hosting over a dozen spring minis here, it’s no secret that it’s one of my favorite locations.
The pebble pathways blend beautifully with the stone walls and rustic doors. Mature trees shelter the garden that is home to a variety of blooms that change throughout the season. The highlight of this location is the beauty of both nature and the man-made structures. Stone archways AND green backgrounds… heart eyes!
Take a peek into these family galleries that were delivered late Spring.
Thinking Goodstay Gardens has the vibe you’re looking for? Let’s break down the pros and the cons…
PROS:
-This location is designed to provide a final gallery that has variety. We’ve got blooms, stone walls, grass fields, and tree-lined paths that provide optimal spots for family photos.
-Both parking and entrance to the gardens is FREE. No extra costs with this gem of a location!
-Minimal walking from parking to location. During photo sessions we often stroll through the gardens, so there is some walking. However, the parking is ample and it’s a short walk from the car to the garden entrance.
CONS:
-As I’ve learned the hard way, this location is very popular during prom season.
-The pebble pathways are both a pro and a con. They can easily get stuck in sandals, but provide fascinating entertainment for all tiny rock enthusiasts
